Central location, beautiful accommodation;everything was within walking distance. Fremantle Markets, IGA, wine bars, pubs, movies, etc. Accommodation was awesome. Two taps for water and sparkling water in the kitchen. Also next door to Emily Taylor's which I recommend.

Unfortunately we were there on Monday to Wednesday when the town is very quiet and the famous market closed-only open on weekend. Also the art gallery was closed as they were preparing for another exhibition-would have been nice to have been forwarned to avoid going there.

Fremantle is a very walkable place.
Fremantle is a very walkable place. It's mostly flat and most things are within a 1 -2 km walk. We did not have a car and did not miss it. High Street is the place for cafes and shops. Bathers beach is great for restaurants and sunsets.
The pace in Fremantle is slow, which suited us. We had a wonderful 4 days here and would recommend Fremantle to anyone wanting to experience the friendliness of Western Australia and enjoy that small town feel.
Fremantle Markets is also brilliant.

Fremantle has a warm, nostalgic place in my heart but over the years it has become decidedly tatty. Yes, it has history to offer but the general atmosphere in the town is one of cafés, eateries and non-descript shops offering uninteresting souveniers.
The Fremantle town council is badly in need of a strategy to create a town that serves the broader community beyond a place to drink coffee any time in the week

Lots of cafes and restaurants, food was great.
Lots of cafes and restaurants, food was great. Markets were amazing and worth visiting. The beach was small in Fremantle but very clean. There is a great atmosphere and it is very safe to walk around with good transport links to Perth.
This is a fantastic little hotel - secluded, cosy yet so convenient to the best Fremantle has to offer.
We loved the location, the simplicity of the floor plan, and the pool. The room is compact yet comfortable with lovely velvet armchairs and cushions.
There are restaurants, cafes, bars and a bottle shop within metres of the establishment. South Beach is within easy walking distance.
If you are lucky, you may get to meet in-house resident feline, Nautica. If you are worthy, she may let you pat her!
Perfect location, short walking to all of Fremantle's best restaurants, shops and tourist spots. Off street parking, lovely old building which was beautifully renovated. The apartment had two balconies for relaxing which looked out at trees and the carpark at the back of the building. Quiet spot. Great shower and main bed was comfortable. Lovely polished floors, fantastic kitchen, high ceilings and light/bright apartment. Owner lives next door and was very helpful and cheerful.
The Endeavour Room was a lovely big room with access to a verandah that overlooked the back garden, which was beautiful and cool on a summer afternoon in Fremantle. Just a beautiful way to cool down after a busy day. The room is beautifully furnished with antique reproductions. Even has a reproduction of Sir Joseph Banks' desks that was on the Endeavour. Very tastefully setup with all the amenities found in a normal 4-star hotel.
Great apartment in an amazing location in Fremantle. Gave us a really good base for our two weeks in Perth before we moved on elsewhere. Kitchen had everything you would need, and the washing machine/ tumble dryer were so handy. Apartment was clean and very quiet. We emailed about car parking for the night before we left the apartment and our request was dealt with very promptly. Would recommend this property.
Location was great, close to shops, restaurants and all facilities. Great vibe. We had lunch at the property which was delicious. All staff courteous, friendly and genuinely caring and helpful (especially the hotel receptionist) who helped us get a cab after being cancelled 3 times by Rydo Taxis App, heading back to Perth airport for ongoing trip to Broome. Thanks heaps! You saved our bacon !
A quirky hotel in central Fremantle, full of charm and character, with lovely staff. Large bathroom with beautiful products available. The minibar was complimentary, and the free drinks from 5-6pm were appreciated. Large comfortable bed. Dinner at Emily Taylor next door was exceptional - fresh ingredients, very nice meal and well priced.
It was a pleasant stay in a good, branded hotel within inner Fremantle. the room was a good size and the neighbourhood good for exploring central Fremantle with the restaurant and bars. Staff at reception were pleasant and very accommodating, Easy walk to Train Station with luggage.
I would definitely stay at this hotel whenever I visit Perth again. In love with the healthy and delicious morning brekky 👌
Everything is above par. Also rooms and washrooms are clean and sparkling. Also you get parking on the property. It's a very nice accommodation 🤗
The hotel was in a great location, walking distance from places you would visit in Fremantle like Bather’s Beach, Fremantle Prison, Fremantle Market and more. Room was tastefully done up, not too big but more than enough space for us and a couple of luggages.
The staff were very friendly. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting all those great little restaurants and bars on this side of Fremantle and also across the bridge in North Fremantle. Good value rooms. Private lock up parking. Comfortable beds.
Fabulous hotel, excellent location. Much better than any of the other hotells in Fremantle. Much better than the Esplanade hotel. Very friendly staff. Honest stuff called to inform me that I had left something in my room. Definitely will return.
It was unique experience staying in such a historic area. The location is great and it's an easy walk to the centre of Fremantle. There was a large and modern kitchen and good common areas. The bathrooms were also bright and new.
Very private, cosy and spacious. Well presented and walking distance to Fremantle (15mins). Great bathroom and shower, with an amazing french pear and apple body wash. Over all a great stay and perfect addition to visiting Perth.
The room was very clean. The hotel was very close to restaurants, bars and markets in Fremantle. Some basic items in the kitchen to eat basic food - kettle, bowls, microwave but no toaster.
The most perfect views. Walking distance to anything in Fremantle.
and all staff from front of house, to housekeeping - were so friendly and accomodating no matter what was required.
Very welcoming and helpful reception team
Location a little bit out of Fremantle but close to public transport The hotel shuttle only works on weekends
Leah was particularly helpful
