"Good..........Breakfast, perhaps a little over priced, but acceptable" (97627591)
Warm welcome, very courteous, extremely helpful.
Prior to visiting The Jury Inn, although in receipt of confirmation by E-mail from Active Hotels.com We thought it prudent to check with the hotel that our booking had been made, and that we were expected, sadly I have to report, Jury's Inn had no knowledge of the booking. I had too forward your confirmation e-mail in order that the Hotel was aware of the booking. This exercise was not without some stress and expense with telephone calls. The reference number you gave me was not reconised, I had the distint impression that the Hotel, renewed the booking for my wife and I as a gesture of good will, because they certainly was not aware of your company at the time, or indeed if you had debited my account for the stay.

"Enjoyable" (97471896)
Clean, modern, well sized room. Excellent location, nice views from higher floors, nice for a weekend.
Pricey parking, check in/ out was slow, not exactly a defining moment tho.

"Enjoyed my stay. The position of the hotel was excellent for visiting the NIA which was the purpose of my visit. Was impressed by standard of cleanliness in room and the good job done by cleaners. Overall, I had all the information I required before my visit and can't think of anything else I needed to know. The only thing I would mention is,the the hotel does feel a bit clinical and impersonal." (97202592)
The room was fine, the standard of cleanliness excellent.
The heating system a bit hard to understand, could have done with instructions

"The stay was enjoyable, perfectly located for the NIA, variety of eating establishments and bars. I asked for rooms next to each other and the hotel obliged. Breakfast was a little expensive in the hotel however it was easy enough to find an alternative near by." (97129969)
Spacious rooms, spacious reception area.
Room was a little cold, couldn't locate thermostat. Skinny pillows.

"This hotel is well located in a vibrant area with restaurants and night life nearby. The rooms are a good size, well equipped, very clean and with ample storage space. The breakfast is excellent value for money." (97995023)
The room was a good size with adequate storage and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was in an excellent location.
One of the windows was very drafty and the room could be quite cold at times.

Central to main area for restaurants etc
Noisy, even form 12 floors up. Heating did not work properly. Bed was at the end of the room and needed binoculars to see the tv as it was so far away. Layout was poor. No trouser press. Bathroom door could not be shut from the outside.

Room was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was mostly good - see below.
Room was cold and heating was not particularly effective. We had the heating set as high as possible but it really seemed inadequate for the size of the room. Breakfast was good except some of the food appeared to have been under the heater for a while as it had tended to have dried out e.g. the black pudding.

perfect location, pleasant staff, clean room with good views and comfy bed. Overall the perfect place to stay for shopping and ideally located for the great nightlife.
If i had to pick one thing it was that the maids did not take away dirty glasses from our room and left them there for the duration.

"This hotel was a nice place to stay, in the right place in the City Centre. The check-in procedure was quite smooth and we were given two room card keys and sent up to the 15th floor. One of the card keys did not work, but this didn't matter for our one night stay. The room was big and spacious and was very, very clean. Our twin room beds were larger than normal beds and very comfortable and we both had a good night's rest. There were extra blankets and pillows in the wardrobe area if we had wished to use them. We would recommend this hotel to our friends who will be staying in the City of Birmingham in the very near future." (97756476)

Room size and cleanliness. Location Public area
The bathroom. bath too shallow and low, directing customers toward taking a shower. We could not get the water to work initially, which made us late in getting out for a meal and show. For the price that we paid, breakfast should have been included

"The only 'complaint' I have is that in the morning the maid was knocking on my door wanting to clean the room when I hadn't even got out of bed. Then about an hour later she was knocking on the door again. This I did find rather intrusive and somewhat annoying" (97335871)
The room was large, light, bright & airy. It was neither too warm or too cold. Brilliant location on Broad Street so not too far to walk back after a night out

Location is good, hotel is adequate for needs if rather impersonal.

"It was a nice and comfortable room and the staff tried their best to make customers feel welcome but these were ruined by the poor heating system in my room as I almost got a cold." (99095976)
The room was comfortable and spacious enough and there was a wide range of tv channels to watch.
The heating didn't work properly during the 2 days I stayed and I ran out of shower gel soon enough so I had to use my own. That should not be expected for a 3 star hotel as it was claimed

Very little, compared to the Jurys in Cardiff the Brimingham hotel is very expensive and the room I had could easily have been in a Travel Lodge.
Expensive price for a very poor room, no safe in the room for laptop etc as there is in Cardiff, expensive car park (free in Cardiff for residents) No shampoo / soap / etc in the room just standard shower gell in a big bottel bolted to the wall. No room service - can you believe this!

Although I appreciate the energy saving measures of the card access system to the room, the room was initially cold after periods of unoccupation and had to be warmed up each time
